About the role
UNESCO is recruiting a National Coordination Consultant to support the implementation of its Technical Assistance programme aimed at transforming Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Jordan. The consultant will work on‑site in Amman, collaborating closely with the Ministry of Education and other national stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the operational aspects of the TVET Technical Assistance programme funded by Canada.
- Support the Ministry of Education’s TVET reforms in line with the Education Strategic Plan (2018‑2025) and gender‑mainstreaming strategies.
- Strengthen institutional and policy elements of the national skills ecosystem.
- Enhance skills development in priority sectors for both young women and men.
- Promote the perception of TVET and advance gender inclusivity and equity.
Required profile
- Mid‑level professional (Level 2 – Middle) with experience in education or TVET programmes.
- External candidate eligible.
