Operations Manager – Facility Services

About the role

EFS Facilities Services is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead large‑scale operational activities across its facility and environmental service projects. The role focuses on delivering contractual commitments, optimizing resources, and ensuring service excellence in dynamic environments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end project operations, aligning service delivery with contractual requirements and client expectations.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to boost productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
• Monitor and achieve KPIs, SLAs, and performance targets while managing budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasting.
• Optimize workforce planning, resource allocation, and deployment to maximize effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, government authorities, and internal teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop operational teams, supervisors, and site managers.
• Identify operational risks, implement mitigation measures, and manage crisis and business continuity situations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and innovation.
• Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of operations management experience, preferably in waste management, facilities management, logistics, municipal or environmental services.
• Proven track record managing large operational teams, multi‑site operations, and complex service delivery.
• Strong expertise in operational strategy, KPI management, workforce planning, budgeting, and resource optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, stakeholder expectations, and contractual obligations.
