About the role
Join the pastry team at an Accor hotel in Aqaba, supporting the Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie in daily production of pastries, desserts, breads and cakes. This role ensures consistent quality, presentation and hygiene in line with hotel standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place, bake, decorate and plate pastry items following standardized recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization and safety of the pastry section, equipment and workstations.
- Check ingredient quality, manage stock rotation and assist with inventory control.
- Support the team during busy service periods and assist other kitchen sections when needed.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant pastry section (preferred).
- Culinary or pastry education/training is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Required skills
- Pastry preparation and baking techniques.
- Food hygiene and HACCP standards.
- Safe use of kitchen equipment.
