Patient Escort – Support and Transport in Hospital

About the role
The Patient Escort ensures safe and courteous movement of patients throughout the hospital. You will assist patients with mobility, coordinate transfers between departments, and support clinical staff with routine logistical tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome patients, guide them and transfer them between required floors.
- Assist with patient discharge and escort them to their vehicles.
- Provide physical support such as helping patients stand, walk, sit, and prepare for scans or procedures.
- Deliver samples and blood units to appropriate locations.
- Transport medication between pharmacy and all hospital floors.
- Return beds from wards to the recovery area.
- Admit patients to their rooms.
- Move medical and non‑medical equipment between floors and from storage to clinical areas.
Required profile
- Possession of a Tawjihi certificate.
- Physical ability to support patients who cannot walk or lift themselves.
- Basic proficiency in English.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
