Plant Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Plant Engineer to support our manufacturing plant in achieving operational excellence, quality standards and continuous improvement. The role involves collaborating with department managers, monitoring key performance indicators and ensuring compliance with ISO, BRC and food safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the plant in monitoring and achieving KPI targets.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO, BRC and food safety standards.
• Work with department managers on daily tasks, issue follow‑up and project reporting.
• Analyze line change and size change activities, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Investigate performance, downtime, quality and maintenance issues, proposing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in visual management, workplace audits and follow‑up with related departments.
• Monitor daily work of assigned department staff and suggest performance enhancements.
• Provide hands‑on assistance when required and help train the workforce on company procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or processing environment, preferably in the food sector.
• Familiarity with KPI monitoring, ISO/BRC compliance and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to assess performance data and identify root causes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and support daily operations.

Required skills

• Hands‑on technical aptitude.
• Knowledge of visual management and workplace auditing.
