Plant General Manager

About the role

The company is seeking a senior leader to direct all operations of its pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Jordan. This role is responsible for delivering operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving business objectives across manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and EHS.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the entire manufacturing site.
• Lead manufacturing operations to meet productivity, quality, safety, and cost‑efficiency targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational performance.
• Ensure full compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, and international quality standards.
• Manage cross‑functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Maintenance, Validation, and EHS.
• Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, and capital investment projects.
• Build high‑performing leadership teams and foster a culture of accountability.
• Support regulatory inspections and customer audits from local and international health authorities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on business growth, capacity expansion, and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline (Master’s or MBA is an advantage).
• Minimum 15 + years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• At least 5 years in a Plant Head, Site Head, Factory Manager, Manufacturing Director, or General Manager role.
• Experience with both sterile and non‑sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Proven leadership of large, multi‑functional manufacturing teams.
