PMO Intern – One-Year Engineering Internship

About the role

The PMO Intern will support the Engineering Department of Zain through a one‑year internship under the Zain Youth Program. This role is designed for a fresh graduate eager to gain hands‑on experience in project management, reporting and cross‑functional coordination within a leading telecom operator.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and lead periodic project meetings, delivering updates on progress and flagging issues that need group involvement.
• Track engineering project roll‑outs and produce regular reports for management and related teams.
• Lead Zain Group auditing activities from the engineering side, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor logistical interactions between the engineering department and the warehouse, preparing status reports.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports required by the business and senior management.
• Coordinate with all company departments and the Zain Group to ensure projects stay on schedule and to resolve obstacles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication, teamwork, time‑management, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualisation.
• Ability to create presentations using PowerPoint.
• Basic data‑analysis capabilities.
