Polisher - Painter

About the role

The Polisher – Painter will be responsible for applying and maintaining high‑quality finishes on walls, ceilings, furniture and other surfaces within Marriott properties. This full‑time position supports the hotel’s appearance standards and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain and other finishes using brushes, spray guns or rollers.
• Prepare new surfaces with primers or sealers before finishing coats.
• Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning or abrasive blasting.
• Cover surfaces to protect them during painting and place appropriate signage.
• Clean and store paint, tools and equipment after each job.
• Coordinate with vendors to modify colors of paint, stain or varnish as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies, report hazards, and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and assist guests according to Marriott standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, climbing ladders and working at various heights.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 1 year of related painting or finishing experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
