Pool Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Pool Attendant to join our team at Marriott International in Aqaba. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe pool environment while delivering excellent service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, mop and clean the pool deck and surrounding areas.
• Promote a fun, relaxed atmosphere and enforce facility rules.
• Monitor recreational activities and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Collect, fold and stack towels following company standards.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets and keep confidential information secure.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests, assist individuals with disabilities and address service needs.
• Use computers or point‑of‑sale systems to enter and retrieve work‑related information.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving and cleaning equipment safely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to work full‑time in an onsite pool environment.
• Willingness to follow all company policies, safety procedures and confidentiality guidelines.

Required skills

• Basic computer usage, including point‑of‑sale systems.
