Pre-Sales Engineer – IT & Cyber Security (Riyadh)

About the role

We are looking for a Pre‑Sales Engineer specialized in IT and Cyber Security to join our Riyadh team. You will work closely with customers, sales, and technical teams to design and demonstrate secure solutions that meet complex business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers to assess IT and cyber‑security requirements, focusing on Aflak products and zero‑trust maturity.
• Design secure architectures (NGFW, PAM, vulnerability management, load balancers, application security, DLP, email security, HCI, VMware, networking, Linux, SIEM, DDI, zero‑trust segmentation, ransomware containment).
• Conduct demos, proofs‑of‑concept, and technical workshops; respond to RFIs/RFPs with accurate solutions.
• Install network traffic sensors across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with TAC support, product management, vendors, and partners for solution enhancements.
• Provide weekly status reports and travel 20‑30% across sales territories.
• Define high‑level and low‑level designs, BoQ/BOM, and handover to professional services.
• Deliver product training, develop technical documentation, and support post‑sales advisory.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience as a technical pre‑sales engineer in IT & cyber security.
• Strong client‑facing communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical topics for business audiences.
• Hands‑on experience with lab/PoC setup and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work independently in multicultural environments.

Required skills

• NGFW, PAM, vulnerability management, load balancer, application security, proxy, DLP, email security.
• HCI, VMware, VLAN, NAT, DHCP, DNS, wireless, NAC, Linux, SIEM, DDI (DNS security, IPAM).
• Zero‑trust network segmentation, ransomware containment, Cisco technologies.
• Cloud security platforms: AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud.
• DevSecOps practices and familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, IEC 62443, etc.).
