Principal Engineer - Civil and Roads

About the role

Egis is seeking a Principal Engineer – Civil and Roads to lead high‑profile infrastructure projects in the Middle East. You will be responsible for delivering technically excellent civil and road designs while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of civil and road works for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain productive client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for major projects.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation.
• Manage project resources and schedules to ensure optimal utilization and financial performance.
• Report regularly on project status, technical performance, and team development to senior management.
• Prepare calculations, design documentation, and reports.
• Produce designs using Civil 3D within a BIM environment.
• Assist senior engineers and project leaders in managing infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in civil and road design, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
• Extensive experience in civil and road design and in‑depth technical knowledge.
