Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will lead end‑to‑end purchasing activities for Maaden International Recycling’s operations in Sahab. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers, request quotations, and issue purchase orders for required goods and services.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms and conditions with vendors to achieve optimal value.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, finance and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and support production planning.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, track market trends, and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management, preferably in industrial, manufacturing or recycling environments.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate quotations, compare costs and support data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, organization and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Sahab and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or a related field is an advantage.
