Production Engineer – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Production Engineer to lead and optimise production processes in a manufacturing environment. The role combines planning, process improvement, quality assurance and resource management to ensure efficient, on‑time delivery while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production plans.
• Coordinate production activities, resolve bottlenecks and ensure optimal use of manpower, equipment and materials.
• Analyse workflows, drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and support Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Maintain product quality by collaborating with QC, investigating issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee raw‑material availability, inventory accuracy and material‑loss minimisation.
• Monitor equipment performance, coordinate preventive maintenance and recommend upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and company policies.
• Prepare regular production reports, track KPIs and recommend efficiency enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Proven experience in production planning, quality systems, inventory control and process improvement.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
