Production Manager

About the role

Freudenberg Vileda Jordan Ltd is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in Amman. You will be part of the Site Leadership Team, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost performance while supporting the company’s global strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and optimise daily production to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Contribute to site strategy as a member of the Site Leadership Team.
• Ensure compliance with Freudenberg HSE standards and local regulations.
• Recruit, train, coach and evaluate production staff, set KPIs and plan succession.
• Provide technical and operational leadership to engineers, supervisors and operators.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects using Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, process flow optimisation and layout improvement.
• Define, monitor and report production KPIs on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, SCM, Quality, HSE and HR to maximise productivity and asset utilisation.
• Participate in internal and external audits (HSE, ISO, customer certifications).
• Manage the production budget and optimise use of material, equipment and labour.
• Design and redesign processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and support sustainable operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading production or manufacturing operations.
• Strong ability to develop and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Solid understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
