Program Specialist

About the role

The Program Specialist will support the Building Tomorrow: STEM and Opportunity project in Jordan, helping secondary‑school youth gain access to STEM careers and essential soft skills. Working closely with the Program Lead and Coordinator, the specialist will ensure daily implementation of project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with program partners, schools, and private‑sector stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Assist in developing, adapting, and delivering training curricula for teachers and youth participants.
• Co‑facilitate Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions alongside the program team.
• Conduct field visits across Jordan to monitor implementation, engage stakeholders, and gather feedback.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Demonstrated technical knowledge of youth skills‑building programs, positive youth development, and STEM education in Jordan.
• Strong relationship‑building and management abilities.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for program documents such as work plans, reports, success stories, and talking points.
• Experience tracking and managing budgets, with strategic planning capability.
• Organizational and time‑management strengths.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
