About the role
The Programme Support Assistant will work within the Programme Management Support Unit (PMSU) of the UNDP Jordan Country Office. Reporting to the Programme Specialist, the incumbent will provide administrative, logistical and documentation support to ensure smooth implementation of programme activities and compliance with UNDP guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative and logistical assistance to the Programme Support Unit.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, missions and events, handling invitations, agendas, logistics and documentation.
- Prepare accurate meeting minutes, record decisions and track follow‑up actions.
- Support programme delivery monitoring, pipeline management and reporting activities.
- Assist with risk management, resource planning and performance monitoring tasks.
Required profile
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate across units.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
