Project Manager – Techween

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the day‑to‑day implementation of the Techween initiative, a four‑year project funded by the DROSOS Foundation to close the ICT skills gap in Jordan.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan and oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets and reporting calendars.
• Manage the Techween implementation team across Networks, Tech Guilds and OpenLab components.
• Coordinate with partners, universities, student clubs and tech organisations.
• Work with the MEAL consultant to monitor progress and ensure donor reporting.
• Facilitate internal coordination and represent JOSA at external events.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensure documentation and knowledge management.
• Lead reporting, support fundraising and handle project‑related recruitment.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in ICT or nonprofit sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Project Management or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities with capacity to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Commitment to JOSA’s mission around open source, community collaboration and tech education.
