Project Manager – Terminal Infrastructure

About the role

APM Terminals is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of large‑scale terminal infrastructure projects. The role will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives, safety standards and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and execute project plans, including implementation approach, contracting strategies, budgets and timelines.
• Continuously manage scope, schedule and budget to meet the business case.
• Provide direction and leadership to the project team and coordinate closely with neighbouring terminal organisations to minimise operational disruption.
• Collaborate with the Automation Program Team and HQ functions to integrate design, automation and optimisation.
• Implement APMT project controls and procedures, and produce regular status and performance reports for the Steering Committee.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, resolve conflicts and oversee risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
• Drive a safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSSE standards, anti‑fraud and anti‑corruption policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large, complex international infrastructure projects, preferably in transport or logistics.
• College degree from an accredited international university.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and risk management capabilities.
