Project Performance Engineer

About the role

Egis Group is looking for a detail‑oriented Project Performance Engineer to support project setup, financial tracking and invoicing within its engineering consultancy environment in Amman.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage project‑related data, including codes, financial records and resource information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support invoicing, cost tracking and collections, liaising with Finance to ensure proper revenue tracking and compliance.
• Assist with project setup activities such as code creation, budget allocation and tracking of contractual variations.
• Generate and analyse reports on project performance, reconciliation, invoicing status, cost tracking and operational KPIs for management review.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and provide data‑driven analysis to support decision‑making.
• Prepare documentation and verify records for audit‑related activities, ensuring traceability of project and financial data.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, engineering consultancy or finance‑related roles.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (design, supervision and finance).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, look‑ups, reconciliation).
• Exposure to Oracle ERP Project Management (PPM/Projects) module, including project setup, cost tracking and invoicing support.
