Quality Assurance Intern

About the role

Zain is seeking a fresh graduate to join its Technology and Digital Innovation Department for a one‑year internship under the Zain Youth Program. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of commercial IT products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform system integration testing for commercial products and IT projects, ensuring they are bug‑free.
• Develop and maintain test automation solutions to speed up testing cycles and improve time‑to‑market.
• Automate manual procedures using current technologies to reduce manual effort.
• Handle customer cases and complaints received through IT systems, analyzing and resolving them promptly.
• Communicate with technical and customer‑facing teams to expedite resolution of issues and requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related IT field.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication, follow‑up, and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of object‑oriented programming languages.
• Proficiency with databases and SQL commands.
• Experience with testing automation tools.
• Understanding of quality assurance procedures.
