Quality Assurance Senior Supervisor

About the role

The Quality Assurance Senior Supervisor will ensure that all pharmaceutical products are manufactured in compliance with GMP, cGMP and company SOPs. This role oversees batch release, deviation management, and continuous improvement of quality processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise IPC testing, line clearance, cleaning validation and product sampling during manufacturing and packaging.
• Approve or reject cleaning activities, product transitions and resumption of production after maintenance.
• Review and maintain QA SOPs, logbooks and documentation to meet cGMP requirements.
• Manage deviation cycles, root‑cause investigations, OOS cases and implement CAPAs.
• Assess change‑control requests, oversee complaint investigations and ensure corrective actions are applied.
• Review, complete and give final approval of batch records as delegated by the QA Manager.
• Conduct self‑inspections, support external audits and drive corrective actions from audit findings.
• Lead team meetings, manage personnel affairs, performance, coaching and training.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and maintain related records.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a QA department within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
