Quality Control Specialist – Terminal Operations

About the role

The Quality Control Specialist will ensure that terminal operations meet defined quality standards, customer expectations and relevant regulations. Working closely with Operations and HSSE teams, the specialist drives continuous improvement and supports the implementation of the Integrated Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct operational quality inspections and checks across the terminal.
• Monitor compliance with approved procedures, work instructions and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Identify quality deviations, non‑conformities and support root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports and support internal audits.
• Track corrective and preventive actions, ensuring timely implementation.
• Analyze recurring quality issues and propose improvement initiatives.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations related to quality.
• Collaborate with Operations and HSSE on quality‑related risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Operations or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in quality control, preferably in ports, logistics or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001/QMS principles.
• Proven experience with root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action management.
