About the role

The Regional Staff Counsellor provides HR advice and support to staff in the ECAMENA Regional Office, promoting people‑centered management, staff wellbeing, psychological safety and healthy work practices.

Key responsibilities

• Offer HR counselling and guidance to staff across the region.
• Support the implementation of UNICEF’s strategic plan and regional priorities.
• Contribute to risk management, emergency preparedness and response from an HR perspective.
• Assist with digital transformation, innovation and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Promote staff wellbeing, psychological safety and healthy work practices.

Required profile

• Professional background in human resources.
• Familiarity with staff wellbeing and psychological safety concepts.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, regional environment.
