Rooms Division Manager

About the role

Crowne Plaza Resort Petra is looking for an experienced, commercially focused Rooms Division Manager to lead the hotel's Front Office and Housekeeping operations. Reporting to the General Manager, the manager is a key member of the Executive Committee, responsible for guest experience, brand standards and the operational and financial performance of the Rooms Division. The role combines operational expertise with visible leadership and sound commercial judgment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Front Office and Housekeeping departments.
• Ensure consistently high standards of guest service, cleanliness, presentation and operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach and develop departmental leaders and colleagues, building a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Monitor guest feedback, quality scores and operational performance, and ensure timely corrective action.
• Prepare, manage and monitor departmental budgets, forecasts, payroll and operating expenses.
• Contribute to the hotel's overall business strategy and Executive Committee decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
• Significant progressive experience in Rooms Division operations, including leadership of Front Office and Housekeeping.
• Previous experience in an upscale or internationally branded hotel or resort.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, engage and develop diverse teams.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; previous IHG experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of hotel operating systems and rooms-related performance indicators.
• Commercial judgment and budget management.
