Safety Associate

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Safety Associate to support occupational health, safety and environmental (HSE) practices across all Teeba sites in Jordan. The role ensures compliance with regulations, conducts risk assessments and promotes a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and safety audits to verify compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
• Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure employees follow safety procedures and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and reporting processes.
• Coordinate HSE training sessions, emergency drills and safety awareness activities.
• Monitor fire safety systems, emergency equipment and evacuation procedures at all locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in occupational health, safety and environment (HSE).
• Certification in Occupational Safety & Health; NEBOSH IGC preferred.
• Good command of Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and audit practices.
• Risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Fire prevention and emergency response procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HSE reporting systems.
