Safety Associate

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Safety Associate to support and oversee occupational health, safety, and environmental practices across all company sites. The role ensures compliance with HSE regulations, conducts risk assessments, monitors workplace safety standards, supports audits and inspections, and promotes a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
• Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure employees follow occupational health and safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate HSE training sessions, emergency drills, and safety awareness activities for employees.
• Monitor fire safety systems, emergency equipment, and evacuation procedures across all company sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in occupational health, safety, and environment (HSE).
• Certification in Occupational Safety & Health; NEBOSH IGC preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards and audit practices.
• Understanding of risk assessment, hazard identification, fire prevention, and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HSE reporting systems.
