Sales Engineer – Admixtures

About the role

Saint-Gobain is looking for a Sales Engineer specialized in concrete admixtures to strengthen relationships with concrete producers across Jordan. You will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver tailored admixture solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Visit concrete producers to understand technical and commercial requirements.
• Identify challenges and collaborate with R&D and technical teams to propose suitable admixture solutions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support sales strategies.
• Negotiate and close sales deals within approved terms and pricing guidelines.
• Support field trials, product demonstrations, and lead generation for project tenders.
• Coordinate with finance and sales teams to follow up on payments.
• Provide technical recommendations, product presentations, and assist in field trials for validation.
• Submit weekly reports on visits, market updates, trial progress, and business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and ensure timely follow‑up on customer inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of proven sales experience in the construction industry, preferably with concrete admixtures or ready‑mix concrete.
• Strong technical knowledge of concrete technology and admixture applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English and Arabic.
• Commercially driven with the ability to identify business opportunities and build long‑term relationships.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using CRM tools for customer management and reporting.
