Sales Manager – Paints and Construction

About the role
The Sales Manager will lead the growth of our paints and construction chemicals portfolio by building strong relationships with existing customers and acquiring new accounts. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring customer needs are understood and met while driving revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop a growing customer base through regular visits and relationship building.
- Negotiate prices and volumes to maximize business returns.
- Identify, analyse, and develop new accounts in line with growth strategies.
- Agree annual sales budgets with the Commercial and Business Managers.
- Collect, analyse, and present market, product, competitor and industry data to shape business strategy.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions and conferences.
- Monitor payment terms, manage cash‑flow risk and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent (Master’s a plus).
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience in chemicals raw material for paints and construction.
- Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English with strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Established knowledge and network within the local paints and construction industry.
- Understanding of product applications and relevant regulations; SHEQ knowledge is a plus.
Required skills
- Knowledge of chemistry principles.
- Familiarity with SHEQ standards.
