Sea Freight Officer

About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, proactive Sea Freight Officer to join our logistics team. In this position you will manage import and export sea freight operations, ensuring shipments are booked, tracked, and delivered on time while keeping clients and internal teams informed.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate import and export sea freight shipments.
- Respond to shipping inquiries and provide timely information.
- Negotiate rates with overseas agents and shipping lines.
- Arrange and manage freight bookings with carriers.
- Track shipments and update clients and internal teams on status.
- Prepare and maintain shipment documentation, including house and master bills of lading.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in sea freight (fresh graduates welcome).
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Immediate availability is a plus.
