Security Coordinator

About the role

The Security Coordinator will oversee daily security operations at the terminal, ensuring effective coordination, record‑keeping and communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily security deployment and activities.
• Maintain security schedules and attendance records.
• Coordinate access‑control requirements.
• Maintain security reports and incident records.
• Facilitate communication between security teams and terminal departments.
• Support visitor and contractor access arrangements.
• Monitor security documentation and permits.
• Coordinate security inspections and follow‑up actions.
• Support security drills and exercises.
• Liaise with relevant authorities when required.
• Maintain security databases and records.
• Prepare periodic security reports.
• Assist the Security Manager with administrative and operational tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Security, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Security coordination experience in ports, logistics or industrial environments preferred.
• Good Arabic and English communication skills.
