Security Operations Associate

About the role

HyperPay is looking for a Security Operations Associate to join its cybersecurity team. In this role you will help protect the company’s digital assets by monitoring security events, responding to incidents, and supporting compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other monitoring platforms.
• Perform initial triage of incidents and escalate when needed.
• Support endpoint, email, iNDR, and identity & access management tools.
• Run vulnerability scans, track remediation, and verify fixes.
• Coordinate application security testing (SAST, DAST, penetration testing) with development teams and external vendors.
• Administer MFA, SSO, and privileged access management solutions.
• Maintain security dashboards, conduct health checks, and assist with log analysis, threat detection, and basic threat hunting.
• Document procedures, runbooks, and support audit preparation for PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SAMA frameworks.
• Help run security awareness campaigns and phishing simulations.
• Collaborate with IT to apply hardening recommendations and participate in security projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a SOC, corporate IT security, or information security role.
• Familiarity with security concepts such as incident response, vulnerability management, and access management.
• Understanding of cloud security (Azure, AWS, OCI) is a plus.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO 27001 or similar frameworks is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (Security+, CEH, SC‑200, AZ‑500) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
