Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead and manage the full financial and accounting operations for our automotive parts and specialized body‑care business in Amman. The role reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for end‑to‑end daily financial workflows, reporting and cost analysis while ensuring strict compliance with Jordanian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage customer invoices and service billings within the Odoo ERP environment.
• Process, verify and reconcile vendor bills against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Track, review and categorize operating expenses, petty cash and corporate overheads.
• Handle monthly payroll calculations, salary advances and payroll entries.
• Produce weekly and monthly financial reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, aging reports) for the General Manager.
• Develop cost accounting reports for automotive parts, service labor and body‑care materials.
• Perform regular bank, supplier and customer reconciliations and maintain a clean general ledger.
• Prepare and file sales, income and withholding tax returns in compliance with Jordanian tax laws.
• Utilize, manage and optimize Odoo 17 Enterprise (invoicing, billing, accounting modules) to ensure seamless financial data flow.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in automotive, trading or specialized services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, CMA or Jordanian JCPA certification is a strong plus.
• In‑depth knowledge of Jordanian tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to work independently and report directly to senior management.

Required skills

• Hands‑on operational experience with Odoo 17 Enterprise (invoicing, billing, accounting modules).
• Proficiency in ERP data management and financial system maintenance.
