Senior Architect – Design Management

About the role

Egis is seeking a Senior Architect to lead design teams and oversee the full lifecycle of architectural projects, from early concept through construction documentation. Reporting to the Design Manager and Department Head, the role supports project administration while championing the company’s values and sustainable design principles.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Design Manager in technical project management, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary architect teams throughout all design stages, delivering mid‑size projects and providing specialist technical expertise.
• Implement and monitor the project execution and design management plans, maintaining rigorous quality controls and design checks.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and specialty leads to manage expectations and drive project success.
• Contribute to proposal preparation, including scope definition, design methodology, deliverables, and budget estimation.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as minutes of meetings, design change logs, coordination logs, and risk registers.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading architectural design teams on complex projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and resolve design challenges.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and project documentation.
