Senior Associate – Risk & Internal Audit (GRC)

About the role

PwC’s Risk Consulting practice is seeking a Senior Associate to join its GRC and Internal Audit team in Jordan. You will work closely with managers and senior leaders to help clients strengthen their risk management, internal controls and governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on risk, internal controls and governance matters.
• Engage with diverse client teams throughout audit planning, execution and follow‑up, ensuring timelines and KPIs are met.
• Identify key risks, define audit methodology and recommend process improvements.
• Develop and implement internal audit and risk‑management strategies to enhance control maturity.
• Manage engagement budgets, economics and team communication.
• Conduct testing of financial, operational and compliance controls, evaluate design and operating effectiveness.
• Draft audit findings, assess impact, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support the planning and administration of clients’ internal audit plans and contribute to service‑offering innovation.

Required profile

• Minimum several years of experience in internal audit, risk consulting or related fields.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a problem‑solving team.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the capacity to build and maintain relationships.
• Experience managing budgets and coordinating multi‑disciplinary engagements.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
