Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

SlashTEC is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join its Amman office. You will design, implement and maintain Azure‑based CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and ensure reliable deployments for a range of OTT and VAS services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build Azure DevOps pipelines and IaC solutions (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
• Automate provisioning of Azure resources such as VMs, App Services, AKS, storage and networking.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline release cycles.
• Monitor performance, reliability and security using Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Define and enforce best practices, security and compliance standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture across teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps Services, Repos, Pipelines and Azure resource management.
• Proven CI/CD and automation expertise, including pipeline as code and IaC.
• Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and observability tools in Azure.
• Background in managed services, cloud hosting or high‑availability production environments, preferably in OTT/VAS domains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, ownership mindset and willingness to stay current with cloud technologies.
