Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to architect, build, and scale resilient backend systems that power our products. You will collaborate closely with product, frontend, and data teams to deliver robust solutions supporting our client mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of backend systems and APIs.
• Define and enforce backend engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
• Mentor and guide backend engineers, fostering technical excellence and growth.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and data/ML teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and security at scale.
• Drive continuous improvement in CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
• Participate in technical roadmap planning and system design discussions.
• Explore and adopt emerging technologies to enhance backend efficiency and innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
