Senior Business Development Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Business Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in Amman, Jordan. The successful candidate will leverage 8–12 years of experience in engineering business development to identify growth opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and support the expansion of our engineering services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.
• Conduct market research and analyse industry trends, competitors and client needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and support proposals, presentations and bids for new projects.
• Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to align project capabilities with client requirements.
• Contribute to strategic business development plans to expand market presence.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
• Prepare periodic reports on business development activities, opportunities and outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 8–12 years of business development experience within the engineering or consulting industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse market data and identify business opportunities.
• Self‑motivated with a proactive, results‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with CRM software (advantageous).
• Knowledge of engineering project lifecycles and consultancy services.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
