Senior Compliance Officer – Pharmaceutical Distribution

About the role
Omnitrade is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to lead compliance activities across its pharmaceutical distribution network. The role ensures adherence to Jordanian regulations, Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP/GDP), company policies and international quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical regulations, company policies, and GSDP/GDP.
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal audits to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure timely implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support regulatory inspections and external audits by coordinating documentation and ensuring audit readiness.
- Investigate compliance incidents, deviations, and potential violations, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Promote a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance throughout the organization.
- Deliver compliance awareness sessions and training programs for employees.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed compliance in operational processes.
- Maintain compliance records, prepare reports, and provide periodic updates to management on compliance activities and risks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the company’s compliance framework.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar compliance role.
- Previous experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Jordanian pharmaceutical regulations, GSDP/GDP requirements, and quality systems.
- Experience in internal auditing, compliance monitoring, and risk assessment.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
