Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own a live production platform on AWS for one of our major clients in Amman. This on‑site, contract position involves hands‑on engineering, not just ticket handling, and you will work closely with Kodra.io’s architecture practice.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a live AWS‑based platform ensuring zero unplanned downtime.
• Plan, execute, and document migrations and infrastructure changes using controlled change‑management processes.
• Respond to incidents promptly, troubleshoot, and restore services calmly.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Enhance security and compliance, including PCI DSS requirements and AWS Security Hub integration.
• Collaborate with Kodra.io’s architecture team to review and approve production changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on DevOps experience on AWS.
• Proven ability to manage migrations, incident response, and Terraform codebases.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance and AWS Security Hub.
• Comfortable working under a strict “no unplanned downtime” policy.
• Based in Amman and available for full‑time on‑site work.
