Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Gaia is building a sovereign enterprise AI platform that spans multiple cloud models and on‑premises environments. We need a Senior DevOps Engineer who can design, implement, and operate cloud‑agnostic infrastructure that is secure, portable, and production‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud‑agnostic architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and on‑premises data‑centers.
• Build repeatable BYOC and on‑prem deployment patterns, including Kubernetes clusters (managed and self‑hosted).
• Create Infrastructure‑as‑Code templates (Terraform/OpenTofu) and GitOps pipelines for consistent provisioning.
• Develop deployment abstractions, Helm charts, and CI/CD workflows that minimise provider lock‑in.
• Implement secure network designs, tenant isolation, observability, SLOs, disaster‑recovery, and cost‑optimisation.
• Operate and optimise self‑hosted services such as databases, caching, search/vector stores, and GPU workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and customer technical teams during enterprise deployments.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with Kubernetes and Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Proven ability to work across at least two major cloud providers.
• Solid Linux, networking, and container fundamentals.
• Experience designing CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across networking, storage, databases, and AI workloads.
