Senior Digital Forensics and Incident Response Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a senior Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) consultant to lead the design, implementation and hand‑over of a state‑of‑the‑art forensic and penetration‑testing laboratory for the Jordanian Armed Forces. The consultant will be responsible for delivering a complete, secure lab environment that meets military‑grade requirements and can be operated independently by local personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the project plan and charter, and present the kick‑off to senior military stakeholders.
• Produce detailed lab design and architecture documentation aligned with ISO/IEC 27037.
• Oversee hardware and software installation, configuration and integration of forensic and penetration‑testing tools.
• Conduct testing, validation and ensure compliance with ISO 27037 certification requirements.
• Prepare the final implementation report and deliver a management presentation on project completion.
• Create operational procedures, best‑practice guides and provide comprehensive user training for armed‑forces personnel.

Required profile

• Active SANS certification (GCFA, GCFE, GNFA, GASF or GXPN).
• Extensive hands‑on experience designing and building secure forensic labs or SOCs.
• Deep knowledge of ISO/IEC 27037 guidelines.
• Proven ability to document solutions and train both technical and non‑technical military staff.
