Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

InSite, a division of KEO International Consultants, is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its Amman office. The role will focus on delivering power distribution and lighting designs for major landscape and urban projects across various design stages.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review medium- and low-voltage power distribution designs.
• Develop street-lighting designs and ensure compliance with local authority standards and codes.
• Perform calculations in line with project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate and mentor junior engineers within the electrical discipline.
• Provide technical guidance to CAD/BIM technicians for drawing and model production.
• Produce and review technical reports, design drawings, and other deliverables.
• Manage the electrical design team and monitor technical quality of project outputs.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to achieve fully integrated designs.
• Liaise with clients and authority representatives to secure design approvals.
• Contribute electrical expertise to technical proposals for external submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure electrical design.
• Professional institution membership is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
