Senior Facility Management Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Facility Management Engineer to lead both hard and soft services across our Aqaba site. The role ensures efficient operation of building systems, vendor management, health & safety compliance, and a positive workplace experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of MEP systems, including HVAC, generators, elevators, BMS and fire protection.
• Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Supervise soft services such as housekeeping, landscaping, pest control, waste management and security, implementing SLAs and KPIs.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage contracts with service providers, monitoring performance and ensuring legal compliance.
• Source and procure materials and equipment, manage budgets, inventory and coordinate with finance.
• Act as liaison with occupants, address service requests, and support community and wellness initiatives.
• Ensure full HSE compliance, conduct risk assessments, safety drills and emergency procedures.
• Maintain records, prepare performance reports and drive sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and facilities engineering.
• Proven experience in hard and soft services management.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Ability to ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Experience coordinating procurement, budgeting and inventory control.
