Senior Infrastructure Operations Administrator

About the role

Orange Jordan is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Operations Administrator to join its technology team. The role focuses on maintaining and evolving the company’s server, storage, and virtualization environment while ensuring high availability for business services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer operating systems including Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Solaris and Microsoft Windows.
• Manage VMware virtualization, high‑availability clusters and container platforms.
• Design, build and document storage and backup/recovery infrastructure.
• Maintain hardware platforms from Oracle/SUN, IBM, EMC, Dell and HP.
• Apply networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, VPN) and protocols such as NFS, CIFS, FTP, SFTP, TELNET and SSH.
• Automate processes using Perl, Shell, Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.
• Monitor production environments, troubleshoot incidents and perform proactive system upgrades.
• Deploy new clients and ensure continuous service availability.
• Participate in on‑call rotation 24/7/365.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible).
• Maintain operational documentation and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on IT infrastructure experience.
• Red Hat certification and proven shell‑scripting expertise.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, SAN technologies and OS management (Linux flavors, Solaris).
• Basic understanding of virtualization and containerization concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Project‑management experience in large‑scale corporate environments.
