Senior Marketing Lead

About the role

Herfeh, an Arabic‑first marketplace linking artisans and home‑based sellers to buyers in Jordan and Palestine, is building its first in‑house marketing function. As the Senior Marketing Lead you will own and execute marketing for both the e‑commerce website and the mobile app while laying the foundation for a future team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategy across all channels, including user‑generated content.
• Plan, launch, and optimise paid media campaigns on Meta, Google and geo‑targeted platforms, managing budgets and performance.
• Source, outreach to and coordinate influencers to amplify brand reach.
• Improve website and storefront elements to boost conversion and brand perception.
• Create seller and company profile pages that highlight Palestinian and Jordanian merchants.
• Collaborate with external marketing partners and transition activities in‑house over time.
• Report on traffic, conversion, CAC and ROAS to inform strategic decisions.
• Recruit and grow a marketing team as the function scales.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on marketing experience, including paid campaigns on Meta and Google.
• Experience with both e‑commerce and mobile‑app funnels.
• Comfortable creating and directing content without relying solely on external agencies.
• Regular user of AI marketing tools for content generation, ad optimisation and analytics.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Self‑starter who can achieve results with limited resources.
