Senior Network Engineer (Tier 3)

About the role

Acuative is seeking a Senior Network Engineer – Tier 3 to act as the top technical escalation point and subject‑matter expert for large‑scale enterprise network solutions. The role involves designing, architecting, and deploying complex network infrastructures while driving innovation and ensuring security and performance across the global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑level and low‑level design of core routing, spine‑and‑leaf, and multi‑vendor security architectures.
• Conduct advanced capacity planning, performance modeling, and maintain technology roadmaps.
• Serve as SME for SD‑WAN, Zero Trust, and Network Access Control, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Integrate new technologies, vendors, and acquired environments into the existing global network.
• Design and manage hybrid and cloud connectivity for public clouds (AWS, Azure).
• Establish best practices, standards, and procedures for Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers and provide mentorship and final escalation support.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and operating large enterprise networks.
• Proven expertise in advanced routing protocols, high‑availability designs, and security implementations.
• Strong background in cloud networking and hybrid connectivity.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and manage vendor relationships.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and capacity to lead technical teams.
