Senior Officer – Transformation Portfolio Management

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Senior Officer to join its Transformation Portfolio Management team. The role will act as a PMO business partner for a subset of projects within the global transformation agenda, ensuring effective governance, reporting, and tool adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Support and coach Project Managers and Project Leads in the use of project‑management tooling and best practices.
• Maintain and continuously improve guidance for project‑management tools across the organisation.
• Manage PMO dashboards and produce regular reporting at project, initiative, and portfolio levels.
• Provide governance support, including documentation management and compliance with the Transformation Delivery Lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and drive adoption of standardised portfolio‑management practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in portfolio or programme management within a large, multi‑site organisation.
• Strong understanding of transformation programmes, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the right to work in the country of assignment.
• Ability to coach and influence senior project stakeholders.
