Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to lead end‑to‑end procurement activities, from demand planning through sourcing, contract award and supplier performance management. The role will develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full procurement cycle, including demand planning, RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, contract issuance and administration.
• Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies to optimise total cost of ownership.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking and supplier capability assessments to identify sourcing opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, service levels and contractual conditions with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, service reviews and continuous‑improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, delegation of authority and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare executive reports, spend analysis, savings dashboards and sourcing recommendations.
• Identify and deliver cost‑avoidance and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Support digitalisation and process‑automation projects within procurement.
• Provide commercial guidance and support to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• Intermediate level experience in procurement within a large organisation.
