Senior Proposal Specialist – Strategic Client Enablement

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Proposal Specialist to join Mercer’s Strategic Client Enablement team in Amman. In this role you will lead the creation and coordination of complex new‑business and defensive bids, ensuring proposals and presentations meet client expectations and showcase our value.

Key responsibilities

• Write original, client‑focused content for proposals and presentations in response to RFPs.
• Review and edit drafts from contributors for clarity, conciseness and accuracy.
• Identify strategic opportunities within RFPs to enhance client value.
• Collaborate with internal experts to integrate specific information into proposals.
• Manage the end‑to‑end proposal development process, including work plans and schedules.
• Develop opportunity strategies together with Client Managers and consulting teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong understanding of human‑resources consulting, bidding processes and industry practices.
• Excellent oral and written English.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Knowledge of third‑party service providers and additional languages is a plus.
