Senior Python Back‑end Engineer

About the role

CFI Financial Group is seeking a Senior Back‑end Engineer with strong Python expertise to help build and enhance trading platforms. You will work with a multinational team to deliver high‑quality, secure, and scalable services for online trading and investing.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, designers and other engineers to design and implement new features.
• Write technical specifications, choose appropriate technologies and ensure coding standards are met.
• Develop, test and deploy micro‑services and containerised applications.
• Implement unit and integration tests and maintain test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, identify anti‑patterns and propose refactoring.
• Ensure software complies with security, performance and maintainability requirements.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing Python applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, SDLC and quality‑assurance principles.
• Experience with service‑oriented architecture and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
